After a very well-played game on Thursday by both the Cleveland Browns and the Buffalo Bills both suffered huge losses to their Quarterbacks.
Cleveland has suffered the worst of the two, as they have lost Brian Hoyer to season ending injury with a torn ACL. Cleveland went on to win the game 37-24. Brandon Weeder did come in to the for injured Brian Hoyer, and brought the rally for a comeback win against the Bills.
The Bills did lose their Quarterback however, EJ Manuel to a LCL sprain to his right knee due to the hit. He is expected to be out possibly 6 weeks.
The Bills were less than enthused about this not only because of the loss of their QB, but because Cleveland acted less that classy after the injury giving hit. According to the Buffalo Bills players and mainly the Bills center Eric Wood, who said after the game in an interview with NFL.com Thursday night that Browns safety TJ Ward was yelling at a former teammate “ I told you to warn him we were going to get him” after the hit that injured EJ Manuel.
This whole game makes me wonder if these two teams are now on the “very” interested list of teams looking at Freeman out of Tampa.
